Unveiling of a sculpture of the Virgin Mary in Baalbek

The Lebanese Association for coexistence and Development unveiled a statue of the Virgin Mary in the neighborhood of St. George in Baalbek, with a celebration held at the restaurant “The Seagull”.
The ceremony was attended by the representative of the speaker of the House of Representatives Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Tammam Salam, MP Emil Rahma, the representative of President Amin Gemayel, Dr. Saadallah Ardo, a number of Deputies, officers, events and a popular crowd.
Speeches were given on the occasion stressing the importance of meeting and living together.
