17 أيلول 2016

The Lebanese Association for coexistence and Development organized a lighting ceremony for an electric panel with a length of 13 meters and a height of two meters, embodying I Love Baalbeck, with the support of local authorities.

The celebration was attended by the mayor of Baalbek, Brigadier Hussein al-Lakis, members of the Municipal Council, the president of the Federation of Baalbek municipalities Nasri Othman, events and a crowd of citizens.

During his speech, Al-lakais thanked the association for “its second initiative in Baalbek, which was embodied in a lighted painting that carries all the love for the city of Baalbek”, hoping to “continue projects that will change the public image and raise the city to better levels”.

For his part, Hussein Hassan, one of the founders of the association, noted”the great cooperation provided by the Baalbek municipality and the funding agencies for the project, noting that our first project was the opening of Maryam square less than two years ago, where our project “I love Baalbek” comes to emphasize the importance of this city for us.

He added: “the sculpture carries a lot of colors and it expresses the pluralism in the city, and we hope that this atmosphere of love and intimacy will remain among the people, and there are other projects that we have begun to prepare for that pour into the same orientations and our previous projects”.
