Independence Day – 22 November
Independence Day - 22 November Lebanon gained independence from France in 1943, on 31 December. However, the date of celebration is 22 November, as this is the day when the right to independence was recognised by France. During the day there are military parades, similar to those of Spain's Día de la Hispanidad.
